If you’re having difficulty caring for your pet due to financial hardship or an unexpected situation, Companion Pets of Cleveland may be able to help. Our goal is to support pets and their families during challenging times so pets can remain healthy and in their homes.
Support is offered on a limited, case-by-case basis, depending on individual circumstances and available resources.
Types of Support We Offer
Companion Pets of Cleveland provides a range of services and resources, which may include:
- Pet food assistance when available
- Veterinary assistance, including spay and neuter support through our Spay It Forward program
- Community clinics, such as vaccination clinics and nail trim services
- Rescue and rehabilitation services
- Referrals to trusted community resources
Not all services are available at all times, and assistance is not guaranteed.
How to Request Support
If you believe you may need assistance, the first step is to submit a request so we can better understand your situation and determine what support or resources may be available.
Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance, but it allows our team to review your needs and follow up as appropriate. In some cases, we may recommend or refer you to other organizations that can provide support.
What to Expect
To help set clear expectations:
- Pet food support is not scheduled or ongoing
- Availability depends on current resources and capacity
- Brand, type, or quantity of pet food may vary
- Special requests cannot always be accommodated
